Overnight Bridge Repairs on the School Street Bridge over the MBTA Railroad

BEVERLY– The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing overnight bridge work on the bridge carrying School Street over the MBTA Railroad.

This work will be performed nightly from Sunday, February 22, through Friday, February 27, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.  Alternating one-way traffic setups will be in place to accommodate construction operations and maintain travel through the work area.

Work activities may generate elevated noise levels, which will be monitored by the project team throughout the duration of the work.

Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
