Beverly Police Inform Community of Child Internet Safety Webinar Hosted by U.S. Attorney’s Office
Chief John LeLacheur would like to encourage the community to attend a virtual presentation about internet safety hosted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office as part of the Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood Initiative.
The presentation, “Keeping Children Safe and Secure Online: A Project Safe Childhood Presentation for Parents,” educates parents on the dangers children face on the internet and provides tips for keeping children safe online.
The presentation will be Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m.
To register for the presentation, use the following link, https://usao.webex.com/weblink/register/r3c6f24c5e409d764c38ac82d069f700e. Space is limited, so it is recommended to register as soon as possible.
Any questions can be directed to USAMA.PSCOutreach@usdoj.gov.
Chief LeLacheur and the Beverly Police Department hope that the community utilizes this opportunity to inform themselves about the potential dangers our children may face as they immerse themselves in online culture.
