Neighborhood Drug Dealing Concerns Result In 2 Arrests

In September, due to numerous concerns of drug dealing by neighbors in the Ward 2 area of the city, members of the Beverly Police Drug Control Unit arrested Julie Ann Petipas, 35 of Northridge Road Beverly on charges of distribution of Class B Cocaine, possession of Class B Cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of Class E Alprazolam commonly referred to as Xanax. Also arrested was Daniel C. Tod, 32 of Broadway Beverly on charges of possession of Class B Cocaine. Both arrests were made in the area Cabot and Franklin Street.  The Arrest of Petipas yielded the recovery of an amount of Cocaine consistent with distribution, Alprazolam pills, and $394.00 in cash. Both Petipas and Tod were arraigned at Salem District Court.
